Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Blue Vista, I found myself pondering the delicate balance between luxury and value that most travellers seek. The spacious apartment offered an impressive view of splendid Istanbul from our terrace, particularly on the higher floors. Accommodations included full air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, essential in such a vibrant city. The services stood out, especially the attentive staff. They were efficient in housekeeping, ensuring we returned to clean linens each day, and I appreciated their readiness to assist with dining recommendations and local tours. It's worth mentioning that a temporary hiccup with our warm water was quickly resolved by the technical support, reflecting their responsiveness. The hotel offers a solid array of amenities, with an indoor swimming pool and a spa & wellness centre, catering to relaxation seekers like myself. The breakfast featured traditional Turkish dishes, adding a local touch that I favour as a travel writer. While Blue Vista might not be the most budget-friendly option in Istanbul, its commitment to service provides substantial value for families and those looking for comfort. On my next visit, I wouldn't hesitate to return. Just don't expect a flawless experience; it's all about finding that sweet spot between luxury and practicality.
